Congratulations to January's Stars of the month… Dawn Maddison, Patrick Sullivan and Chris Lumley 🌟✨

Dawn received multiple nominations after a challenging couple of months for the accounts team. Throughout January Dawn spent a good number of hours sense checking and correcting the migration data for Purgo. This additional work means that the implementation of Purgo can start which means that J&B are a step closer to streamlining the flow of data. She was also a big support to Linda in her role.

Patrick was nominated for his hard work and dedication. From 5/6 in the morning until 5/6 at night he doesn’t stop working. Paddy keeps South Tees able to function.

Chris is always willing to help and has covered a number of rounds in January after vehicle breakdowns. Chris shows initiative and if he is unable to cover a round himself, he will advise which driver is closest to service it on a given day. Although he starts work very early in the morning, after returning from his round, he always has a smile on his face.

There were lots of other fantastic nominations in December, which made Vikki’s choice very difficult. Special mentions (and a bar of J&B Star Chocolate) go out to the following…

Charlie Payne: You can always count on Charlie, even if he is at an important meeting with the client and you have a question or need help, he will always find a moment to help. Not only in January but always, he makes sure that our business grows and customers are satisfied with our services.

Lucy Peckett: Lucy has been a great help in the accounts department this month during our busy time at beginning of January with closing year end and also continued to help in any way she can whilst we had to close January month end, she is a lovely girl and just gets on with anything you ask her to do. She also stayed late to help with operational issues on the weighbridge.

Mark Penny: He readily shares his knowledge and experience. Even when he is getting ready for a meeting and you ask for advice, he will find time for you.

Reece Waller: He has held the fort whilst Michael was on Paternity leave and working from home.

Robbie Williams: Robbie was very helpful last month for the Collection department. He helped organise the routes as well as assisted with answering telephone calls when there was a busy period.

Tilly Smith: For all her hard work.

Our star of the month receives a much coveted J&B Star Cadbury’s chocolate bar, as well as a cash bonus. Nominations can be made by emailing marketing@jbrecycling.co.uk. You need to include the full name of the person you are nominating, as well as reason for the nomination. All nominations are forwarded to Managing Director Vikki Jackson-Smith, who chooses the winner/s.
