Over the month of November, our employees have been nominating one another for who they recognise as Stars of the Month. Those nominated are recognised for their hard work and dedication not only throughout November but always. Our nominations are sent to our MD Vikki Jackson-Smith, who will then pick a handful of winners. Al winners receive a £50 gift voucher and a J&B Star chocolate. All nominations will receive a bar of chocolate!

Winners:

Phil Timmens and Natalie Novak were both nominated for the same reason. Both were quick to the scene when we had a medical emergency on site. Their calm and dedicated support made a significant difference, helping a team member receive the care they needed.

Phil and Natalia's professionalism, compassion, and ability to act under pressure truly exemplify the values we strive for as a team. Thank you both for going above and beyond!

This month’s nominations showcase the incredible dedication, teamwork, and problem-solving displayed across the board:

Emily Harrison: Praised for her exceptional dedication and perseverance, Emily went above and beyond by tackling a steep learning curve and managing a high volume of challenging inquiries with grace. Her sales performance and ability to stay cool under pressure truly shone.

Brett Cullinane: Recognised for stepping up to improve workplace conditions by taking on the dust cleanup at the plant, Brett has made a significant impact. He also demonstrated outstanding dedication by covering for a shift manager while maintaining high standards.

Stephen Flounders: For his consistent efforts to improve housekeeping at the plant, Stephen goes the extra mile every day, rain or shine, often taking on tasks without being asked. His pride in keeping the plant tidy is evident in his work.

Philip Crossman: Acknowledged for his willingness to step in and cover collection rounds on his days off, Philip exemplifies reliability and team spirit.

Patrick Sullivan: Celebrated for always being accommodating and helpful, Patrick’s positive attitude leaves a lasting impression.

All nominees receive a J&B chocolate bar, and the star (or stars) receive a gift card. Nominations can be made by emailing marketing@jbrecycling.co.uk. You need to include the full name of the person you are nominating, as well as reason for the nomination. All nominations are forwarded to Managing Director Vikki Jackson-Smith, who chooses the winner/s.
